Creature Feature the Host

Story: Having forgotten to repair the TARDIS shields, the Doctor is taken aback when the TARDIS walls are breached by an in-flight collision with what appears to be a large steamliner... and, amid the rubble in his ship, he finds a life-preserver with the name of the Titanic. Materializing the TARDIS onboard the ship, the Doctor finds a Christmas party in mid-swing... but the walls are flanked with golden service robots, and amid the crowd is a red spiky-headed alien. Sensing something amiss, the Doctor checks the window... and discovers that this Titanic is a spacecraft in orbit around the Earth.

As he meanders through the luxurious party, the Doctor befriends an adventure-seeking waitress named Astrid, Earthonomics expert Mr Copper, and the middle-class Van Hoff couple, who won their cruise tickets in the lottery. But the party is brought to an abrupt halt when the ship's captain, working under orders, disables the Titanic's shields and puts it in the path of a meteoroid strike, which cripples the ship and causes the loss of hundreds of lives. With the engines failing, and the ship falling to pieces around them, the Doctor and his friends must find a way to restart the engines and keep the Titanic from falling to Earth and obliterating the planet... but throughout the ship, the golden robotic Host are awakening with a new set of instructions: to kill anyone onboard left alive...
