Story: In a museum, the Doctor and Amy stumble across a 12,000-year-old artefact inscribed with Old High Gallifreyan writing — a message which, the Doctor quickly deduces, is from River Song. Tracing it back to its source, the Doctor arrives in time to rescue River from imminent peril aboard the Byzantium, a ship carrying a mysterious and deadly cargo which cases it to crashland on the nearby planet of Alfava Metraxis.

The Byzantium has crashed into an ancient temple, releasing its cargo into the dark catacombs beneath. The Doctor, Amy and River — backed up by a small cadre of soldiers — must venture into the catacombs to track the creature down, but their quest becomes even more perilous when the Doctor learns that the thing they're hunting is a Weeping Angel, hiding somewhere in the dark maze-like corridors among hundreds of other statues...
