Story: The Doctor's brilliant honeymoon idea for Amy and Rory turns deadly when his companions' luxury liner gets trapped in the turbulent cloud layer of an inhabited planet. Amy swiftly signals the Doctor for help, but the TARDIS is unable to lock onto the liner. With no other choice, the Doctor must head to the planet's surface, to the citadel of a man named Kazran Sardick — the richest man on the planet, whose family created a machine that controls the cloud layer. With Sardick's help, the Doctor can turn off the controls and rescue the crashing liner.

Unfortunately for the Doctor — and the liner — it happens to be Christmas Eve, and Kazran Sardick is none too fond of Christmas. Or poor people. Or philanthropy. When he flat-out refuses to lift a finger to help the Doctor save the liner and its 4,003 passengers, the Doctor must take drastic action: find a way to change Kazran's outlook on life and turn him into a nicer, benevolent man, before everyone onboard the ship is killed.
