Story: In Victorian London, a dinosaur has suddenly appeared in the middle of the Thames, so naturally Madame Vastra is called to the scene. Upon arriving, the Paternoster Gang find the TARDIS... but inside it is a stranger.

Suffering from post-regenerative confusion, the Doctor is swiftly bundled up in bed in Vastra's home, while the penned-in dinosaur paces the river off in the distance. But when the dinosaur unexpectedly goes up in flames, Vastra, Jenny, Strax and Clara rush to the scene, and are surprised to find that the Doctor has grown tired of idleness and beaten them there. When the Doctor and Vastra realize that this is merely the latest in a string of mysterious immolations, both determine to investigate, unaware that someone behind the scenes is directing the Doctor's path...
