Story: Given another opportunity to pick any time and place in the universe to visit, Clara has an answer immediately ready, but she's not sure it's an idea that the Doctor will be willing to indulge. More than anyone in the world, Clara would like to meet her childhood hero: Robin Hood. The brave, gallant, jovial, entirely fictional Robin Hood. And Clara won't take no for an answer.

Left with little choice, the Doctor agrees to take Clara to Sherwood Forest in 1190, but he leaves her under no illusion. It would be entirely impossible, he assures Clara, for her to meet Robin Hood, or his Merry Men, or the malevolent Sheriff of Nottingham... until, of course, they arrive. Immediately upon exiting the TARDIS, Clara discovers — to her delight — that Robin Hood and his Merry Men are indeed camped out in the forest, as large as life. But the Doctor knows that Robin Hood can't possibly be real... so who is he, and where has the TARDIS ended up?
