Story: Ready to be dropped off home for her date with Danny, Clara is annoyed to discover that the TARDIS has brought them to Bristol instead. But there are slightly bigger issues demanding her attention — or, to be precise, slightly smaller issues, as the TARDIS has shrunk to half its size. Astounded by the TARDIS' sudden decrease in external dimensions, the Doctor decides to stay inside to investigate while, for safekeeping, he shooes Clara away from the TARDIS to look for any disturbances nearby.

Before long, Clara has found something that fits the bill: at a nearby housing estate, people have been disappearing, and the number of vanished residents is climbing rapidly upward. Teaming up with a local young graffiti artist named Rigsy, and with the Doctor offering help remotely, Clara begins to investigate the disappearances... but time is of the essence, because something in the area is leaching the TARDIS' dimensions, and unless Clara can stop it, the TARDIS will soon be destroyed.
