Story: The Doctor's sullen mood is broken when the TARDIS alerts her to a Judoon freighter in orbit around the Earth. Upon learning that the Judoon have quarantined Gloucester city center within a temporal isolation dome, she swiftly concludes that she needs to sneak the TARDIS inside the perimeter and stop the Judoon before anybody gets hurt.

Caught up in the quarantine is Ruth Clayton, a 44-year-old tour guide who's looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her husband once her workday ends... until a squadron of Judoon officers teleports into the nearby park, terrifying the locals as they search for an escaped fugitive. Frightened but resolute, Ruth is relieved when her husband comes to fetch her... but why does he seem to know more about the space rhinos than he's telling her?
