Megalomaniac of the Week: Kid

Story: The Doctor and Belinda's best intentions — to make a quick two-minute stop, just to align the Vindicator — are dashed when they realize that the TARDIS has brought them to massive Harmony Arena just minutes before the kickoff of the annual Interstellar Song Contest, an event which neither of them is able to resist.

Alas, Belinda's first experience of true joy at TARDIS travel comes to an abrupt halt partway into the first performance, when a Hellion freedom-fighter named Kid seizes control of the station... and vents the entire amphitheatre to the vacuum of space, sentencing 100,000 people to certain death — including the Doctor. Saved only by the roof of their VIP dome, Belinda narrowly escapes the same fate, but unless she can somehow rescue the Doctor, she'll be stranded in the thirtieth century forever... and the final stage of Kid's dastardly plan is inexorably counting down to the murder of three trillion people more.
