Story: Deep beneath the Utah desert in the year 2012, the TARDIS materializes in a vast underground museum, housing alien artefacts from around the world. The museum is the property of millionaire collector Henry van Statten, a powerful and ruthless man who values his exhibits above everything else... and Rose wonders if he may want to add a live, or dead, Time Lord to his collection.

The Doctor is soon distracted from such thoughts when van Statten introduces him to the pride and joy of his museum: a living creature that has been reluctant to give up its secrets, which van Statten is desperate to have. When the Doctor discovers that van Statten's captive prisoner is none other than a battle-scarred Dalek, he realizes that unless it is destroyed before it gets free, everyone in the complex is doomed to a horrific death.
